What I feel like doing is to just go out with my girls on a sunny day and rachel might wear a sun dress and bring a picnic basket filled to the brim with our favourite food and sweet snacks which we picked up at a mini-mart and mel will wear her hair in braids and walk on the grass in velvet socks and jyings will run around the field full of wild flowers carrying helium balloons that color the sky and I will be carrying my new camera to photograph the sunlight, colors, laughter, crazy things and memories that will last forever.

Close my eyes,

I'm in a dimly-lighted room.

The place is chilly, like cold breeze blowing into your very bones.

Closed doors greet my vision.

I've been lying on the bed for so long.. Too long.

Dry stale air hangs just above my reach.

It's getting harder to breathe.

Can one be dead but alive at the same time?

I stopped breathing for a while.

But I must breathe.

The first step is always the hardest to take.

Open my mouth and nothing comes out.

It goes on for awhile.

I almost feel like giving up.

Maybe it's easier to lie down and just waste my time away on bed.

Until suddenly little air pockets of words of unknown language are uttered out.

What a beautiful sound.

Inhale, exhale.

Breathe in, breathe out.

I'm breathing again.

My weariness leaves me and I spring up from the dusty bed.

Was this how Lazarus felt when he was awoken by Jesus from death?

The room is slowly warming up.

Light floods in,

bringing revelation, truth and joy.

The doors that were once locked are now open.

One at a time.

Breathe.

I used to think that life was hills and valleys - you go through a dark time, then you go to the mountain top, back and forth.

I don't believe that anymore.

Rather than life being hills and valleys, I believe that it's kind of like two rails on a railroad track, and at all times you have something good and something bad in your life..

No matter how good things are in your life, there is always something bad that needs to be worked on.

And no matter how bad things are in your life, there is always something good you can thank God for.

Amazing process involved, makes me want to be a shoe-maker.

If only somewhere in Sg had the equipments and machines, I'll be their frequent customer in making shoes man.

Some events I've been to since starting internship..

Work, as you can see, has been interesting. I learn stuff (no matter how small) every time I'm working on a project. Of course, this is the real world and it makes me realize how sheltered and spoon-fed we are in school. In here, there's no room and time for mistakes 'cors every project counts. Hours are pretty crazy and flexible but at the same time I don't mind working them because it's something I enjoy doing. It's not work to me, but more of an exploration and creative outlet? Yes, I guess passion plays a heavy role in this industry. God, I pray I never lose this enthusiasm.
