give you my f-f-fever

Star wars tee: DIY, Shorts and UK flag shoes: Bangkok, Pictures from the awesome Kristie.

I like fleas.
Flea markets, that is. Not the tiny little bugs that crawl and fly around you, please. If you have any of that, please smile and wave to me from a distance. A big distance. Huuuge distance. Like over the mountains and the se- Nah, I kid. I'll still come and be your friend and talk to you face to face. My last dying wish is that you'd visit me in the hospital after I get the flea infestation too and don't judge if I scratch myself like a monkey. DON'T JUDGE.

Where was I before we were got to the part of admitting into the hospital?
Oh yes, I like flea markets! It's so fun esp if you do it with a friend and I was so happy to have a store with May for the last flea! You get to bargain your goods and use the earnings to buy other people's stuff and then have a good meal after a *hard day's work.

*hard day's work includes sitting down for hours, trying to sell your stuff and walking around the cool booths to get a henna on your hand.

So naturally I'm excited to hear of another flea that's coming up!
It's called 'Flea-ver' and it'll be on the 30th Aug @ SCAPE Youth Park!
Haha I'm getting excited 'cos I've always wanted to make and sell stuff so here's my chance :D
You'll be in for a gr8 treat I believe, so sign up if you want a booth or just drop by when you're free~

BGR

Looky here, it's the romance of fashion.
Makes me want to go to my boyfriend's cupboard and do some mix-match and take photos. IF I had one. Which is pretty lucky 'cos I think I would traumatize the poor guy with such photoshoots. But if I did have a boyfriend, I hope he won't be an old geezer with nothing but suits. I hope he'll have nice hair and nice socks. I hope he'll be a gentleman at the utmost. (I'd rather not be with anyone if people are gonna be rude and disrespectful. I'll grow old pining for dead gentlemen who know how to treat a lady right while I eat buttered popcorn with my dog.) I hope rain would come at night and make tmrw morn so cool and fresh. I hope Santa would come early and give me 3 pairs of boots 'cos I think I've been a pretty good kid. I hope the toothfairy would come and pluck out my wisdom tooth and leave me 4 dollars under my pillow. I hope you know you might've wasted your time reading this. But I hope you know that I think you're amazing to me. And now, let us all keep hoping that I get to eat hazelnut ice-cream :3

monotone

The Mountain from TSO Photography on Vimeo.

Taken from freedom tour:

"It will happen later. His best friend will ask you out instead. You’ll be kissed in the movies instead of on a beach. You’ll end up going to a different school because the one you thought you’d get into didn’t work out.
Your dog will eat your five-year plan. You’ll drop your Blackberry in the toilet (at least once.) Your computer will crash and you’ll delete the first draft of your magnum opus. You’ll accidentally delete your hard drive and end up with a clean slate.

You’ll show up late to the date with the guy you were sure was going to fit into your husband suit and realize he’s less than graceful under stress and not so flexible. (Better to know now than later.)

You’ll flunk out and end up taking five years instead of four to graduate. You’ll have your heart broken when you were sure you were with the one and then meet the other one a month later. You’ll move to a new city to start a new business with those perfect new business partners and then it will all go to shit. And you’ll move across the country again only to realize that that’s where you belonged the whole time.

You’ll drive as far away from home as possible thinking that it will make you feel free. Then you’ll get homesick and drive back four months later because you suddenly feel trapped.

You won’t do it at the right time.

You’ll be late.

You’ll be early.

You’ll get re-routed.

You’ll get delayed.

You’ll change your mind.

You’ll change your heart.

It’s not going to turn out the way you thought it
would.

It will be better."

I particularly liked their lace-up viper leggings! I've already begun dreaming up my DIY version but realized it's gonna take sooo long to lace everything up :X
Now I understand when they said 'Rome wasn't built in a day.'
Likewise, the leggings aren't laced in one day and that shall be my motivation to complete the DIY!
If the Romans can do it, so can I!

P.S. Was it romans that built up Rome or was it unnamed nomads who built Rome and then eventually the people who grew up there that were called romans?
P.P.S. Chickens, first? Or were the eggs?

Snapshots

It's no secret my dog is uhm.. A tiny little bit scary. Okay that was an understatement. Marquis is a fierce growling ball of golden fur strangers. Talk about major trust issues man. He's the best guard dog anyone can ever have.. Except we don't really need a guard dog unless you count cans of corned beef and mountains of clothes very valuable.
His fur will stand and he will growl and bare his teeth- ready to attack. Possibly bite an arm off.
And yes I lost my phone recently. Someone must've taken it and switched off my phone and done God knows what with it after. So now that I've gotten a new phone, I plan on letting my dog sniff it daily so its my non-electronic tracking device called 'Marquis'.
So next time someone tries to take my phone, I'd better leave a warning: Phone comes with cute fluffy lovable dog.
And let my hunter dog sniff the phone out and you can imagine the rest~

HIGH above the clouds

I thank God for being able to wake up today in the wee hours of the afternoon, thinking about last night with a smile on my face- and muscle aches over my whole body. It's not the winning or even competition that matters because at the end of the day it's the whole experience and bonding with the people in it. Being able to say we had 4 (rather crazy) days of practice and finally doing our best brings a gr8 feeling to my heart.

(awesome cg that came to support! <3)

But more than just a gr8 feeling, I know that on 1st July 2011, 8pm-11pm, everyone was rejoicing in heaven as the youth clapped, cheered, sang, danced, rap, praise and worshipped their whole hearts out on earth.

So much, so much more than ever b4. Thank You.
