Ola!

Sorry I haven't been around here for a while.
So many new things have been happening- well, just ONE major change in life that makes it seem like everything is new now..
I'm now officially a student once again!

After a long hiatus from sch, getting back into the groove is a little bit of challenge to get the mind thinking on long term projects as opposed to marketing collaterals needed to be done within a few days for the clients etc.
Still, I'm embracing this one year degree course and am gonna take all that I've learnt so far and give it the best that I've got!

It seems like the more I know, the more I don't know.
I went in to this course with a mindset that I can do design but heck, everyone can do design and good design at that.
Plus there are really so much more design history and technical matters (like what a ligature is) to improve on. I learnt that every stroke & curve & dot made in a design really has a meaning.
Almost nothing is done by chance in the final design piece.
I realized I didn't know much after all. So I'm approaching this year with my half-filled cup of film & random design stuff to hopefully catch more of that knowledge and skills into this cup of mine.

Thank God for great classmates & interesting lecturers as well! They are the ones that play a part in making this an exciting year too~
