'We are handsome'

Gorgeous pictures taken from We Are Handsome's web page.
I love all the printed designs on their swim suits and dresses.
How cool would it be to swim with horses and galaxies stuck on your body?

If guys can be called pretty then maybe I could be handsome in those swimsuits.

Photo log of May and my swimming adventures. We started with the best temperature waters (not too hot, not too cold) and ended up getting water up our noses for the most part. Tried to teach May how to swim again but decided to swim circles around her instead. She did float for a couple of seconds though! Let's give it another try next time, May ;)
Then we had a of fun doing water performances like ballet and yoga to our grand audience of one. And came up with the theme for the day.. borrowing words from Bruce Lee.. 'WAH-TER!'
We tried to read clouds too but it was a little bit difficult with the clouds clumping together and I swore I saw a flying saucer lookalike with red lights streaking through the sky but May didn't see anything flying with a light!!!
Weird.
Maybe we are not so alone after all.

1 2 Watch 4

Check out this new street style blog called Four eyes!
I like the people they feature and how each detail of the outfit is captured..
More visual treat for your eyes. Yes, all four of 'em. ;;)

And this remix is pretty cool as well! I've tried mixing sound and music and all that jazz for dance tracks or videos b4 but could never mash them well.. Time to trade dance class with Amos for sound-mixing lessons!

"The Lord does not look at the things man look at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Sam 16:7

A girl with a self-timer camera, a crazy dog and a song to sing. And she has taken a liking to hiding in the stairwells because of the strangely good scenery and breeze that flutters by.
Can't believe she's graduating from SOT already!
And can't believe she's talking like she's another person. This is what a lack of sleep does to you. Makes you a tad bit delusional. Just a tad bit.

A walk to remember

But actually no, this wasn't really a walk to remember unless you count singing out loud (albeit rather embarrassingly) to Maroon 5 and stopping to take awkward pics of random stuff and then getting questioned by the security guards to as whether I live in this estate (my answer: no I visit my dog every week in a dodgy trench coat, duh?) and then getting lured to stroke and play with a white cat in the car park before getting bitten by the same cat. It's either bi-polar or a vampire. I think I may have smelt like Marquis.
Speaking of which, I've been around a lot of cats and kittens lately. I think Marquis knows.. He's been acting kinda insecure when I come home with cat fur on my shirt. I try to give him more treats now but he just looks at me with lyrics on his face: 'you can't buy my love.. with all the money in the world'~
I should stop playing that song around him.

Soothe your soul

Eliza Doolittle "Pack Up"

Current inspiration: warm sunshine colors, treehouses, summer breeze and some happy music to top it off.

Working on my portfolio now- gaining as much inspiration as possible (read: spending more hrs than needed surfing random websites) but golly so many talented people out there making me feel a little.. Nevermind. Hearing Eliza Doolittle sing to me 'I don't care what the people will say' and watching the cute retro music vid sure chases away the inferior blues.

Have a good weekend XO

Erised

"I don't need a cloak to become invisible," said Dumbledore gently. "Now, can you think what the Mirror of Erised shows us all?"

Harry shook his head.

"Let me explain. The happiest man on earth would be able to use the Mirror of Erised like a normal mirror, that is, he would look into it and see himself exactly as he is. Does that help?"

Harry thought. Then he said slowly, "It shows us what we want... whatever we want..."

"Yes and no," said Dumbledore quietly. "It shows us nothing more or less than the deepest, most desperate desire of our hearts. You, who have never known your family, see them standing around you. Ronald Weasley, who has always been overshadowed by his brothers, sees himself standing alone, the best of all of them. However, this mirror will give us neither knowledge or truth. Men have wasted away before it, entranced by what they have seen, or been driven mad, not knowing if what it shows is real or even possible.

"The Mirror will be moved to a new home tomorrow, Harry, and I ask you not to go looking for it again. If you ever do run across it, you will now be prepared.
It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live, remember that. Now, why don't you put that admirable cloak back on and get off to bed."

Harry stood up.
"Sir -- Professor Dumbledore. Can I ask you something?"

"Obviously, you've just done so," Dumbledore smiled. "You may ask me one more thing, however."

"What do you see when you look in the mirror?"

"I? I see myself holding a pair of thick, woolen socks."

Harry stared.

"One can never have enough socks," said Dumbledore. "Another Christmas has come and gone and I didn't get a single pair. People will insist on giving me books."

Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing

Feeling so many things.
Time of the month.
Wished I was a man,
So tough and nonchalant.

A thought,
so fleeting- like a lightning.
In one second, out the next.
But as it strikes,
the damage has been done.

Wished I was better.
More pretty or just confident.
Smarter or just wiser.
Hard to feel satisfied with myself.

Bloody week. (pun)
So I pull myself up.
Together.
Shrug the negatives off.

I'm not perfect.
Only human.
As human as one can be.
It's okay not to be okay..
