Maybe I need some rehab.. Or maybe just need some sleep.

I keep getting sucked into this horrible cycle.
It's like a vicious cycle. The kind that farmers go through when they're crops don't harvest enough and they have little crops to sell because they've to keep some to grow the next crop and it goes on?
My gosh I totally forgot. What IS a vicious cycle? Sounds vicious. And I know it's about farmers. And.. technology? I just can't remember it now. Sorry Mr Ng (my geography teacher) you're a gr8 teacher and I'm usually not this dumb. I know what a vicious cycle is, I'm sure! Just ask me the next time you see me. I know I'll have remembered it by then!

Okay anyway my point is...
I've been stuck in a cycle that makes me so tired and sleepy all the time. Like there will be a period of time when I'm super free like nobody's biz and I stay up so l8 on my laptop or su'm because I don't want to waste precious time! I feel like I have to make full use of my 24 hours a day, y'know?
So then when I needa do stuff and all, the tiredness accumulates into a big snowball- no make that an avalanche- of tiredness!
Okay next week I'll be free-er I think I'll really try to rest and stop my brain from thinking I need to be working 24 hours a day. And rest my eyes!

Alrighty off to prepare for the ANGELS & DEMONS PARTY!
I know it'll be a blast. Whoooooooooo
(then off to sleep zzz)

A little ball unites people

Go South Africa! from Sir Moving Images on Vimeo.

"When the world comes together at an event like the FIFA World Cup 2010, there’s typically more than just a trophy at stake. In South Africa, the country hosting this year’s tournament, race relations surely stand out as one of the more complex issues. In this stop-motion short, titled Go South Africa!, the topic is examined in a morality tale involving soccer balls. The short was directed by Robbert-Jan Vos, and art directed and animated by Renske Mijnheer."

Soccer fever hits town. World cup has started and everyone's taking sides.
Now, before I go on, I must let you know that my knowledge on world cup is rather limited and I jump on the bandwagon shamelessly.
If Brazil wins, I will tell you that I'd known it from the start. Soccer blood runs in them brazil people.
But if Brazi loses, I'll say very gravely that yeah, I'd kinda known from the start that they wouldn't win. Female intuition and all that, y'know?
So don't raise your eyebrows at me if you ask me which team I support and I give you a different answer after each match.
I do have a dream, though, to watch soccer on a wide-screen and eat caramel-flavoured popcorn with ice-cold coke wearing a loose jersey tee and then lifting up my hands to yell 'GOAALLL' for any goal scored in the game. Then be real patrotic and sing 'OLE OLE OLE OLEEE' with the winning team. And discuss how 12 hot grown men can make so much effort over a little ball that doesn't know how to appreciate them.

For You

& I get high after leaving the stage.

Uhm I think I just scared you away

*Sort of* Based on a true story:
Looking at websites and inspirational pictures motivate you oh-so-easily. Then you switch off the computer, head for bed and close your eyes to dream about you being the next [insert dream occupation here] oh my look how good you are! Cameras are flashing everywhere, you're dining with the Queen, meeting famous people, impacting thousands with your testimony of how God brought you from where you were to where you know your purpose was meant to be. Everyone's yelling your name! 'Felicia Felicia Felicia' and out of nowhere.. a loud shrill alarm blasts overhead and the crowd cheering you on slowly vanishes as you open your eyes and bam- reality. Okay so the really bright flash lights were actually the sun rays beaming through your window. You stagger off to the shower, sing (croak) a few tunes to keep your mood up, close your eyes and let the water drip as you try to hold on to the last cloud of your dream that seems to be floating away. Open your eyes, dang it, you're gonna be late if you keep this up. You towel off and stand in front of your wardrobe thinking of what to wear to get you through another day. Wear the selected clothes and remember how much you've to do today. Suddenly that dream seems distant. Where on earth would you have time to start embarking on your dream? Wait what dream? It's just a fantasy you're chasing after. You shake your head, read the news about successful people, drink your bitter tea and go on with life.

But life isn't meant to be that way. It isn't meant to be mediocre.
Every day is a new opportunity, a new beginning!
If only you'd stop slacking and procrastinating and actually start doing something!
(I'm not just typing this cors I'm high on adrenaline right now lol)
C'mon if you've the dream and passion then that's all it takes and no one can stop you.
No one.. esp not yourself.
Quit putting yourself down or giving excuses and just go do it.
You'll never know if you never try.
You are meant for great things.
You, yes, you. You with a brain, with a talent, with a heart.
You only get one life..

Live it.

P.S Okay I'm not gonna procrastinate anymore, GO GO GO
P.P.S I can't stop listening to this song. There's something about it is so beautiful.

Hello by Lea Michelle and Jonathan Groff
'Hello, is it me you're looking for?'

tidbit

I typed a letter to my future using futureme.org and it was dated to send on 1 June and so I just received it.
Here's what it said;

Dear Future Felicia,
YOU CAN DO IT.
LOOK TO YAHWEH, HE IS THE HOPE. MY HOPE.

LIFE ISN'T VERY SMOOTH NOW, BUT THAT'S EXPECTED.
LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE, NOT WHAT YOU DON'T.

SERVE GOD, NO OTHER.

LOVE YOU.
BTW YOU HAVE LONG FRINGE NOW SO IT'S KINDA LIKE A CENTRE PARTING. I THINK I MAY PERM/DYE IT SOON. I HOPE WHEN I READ THIS AGAIN, SOMETHING HAS BEEN DONE.

-some other private stuff so it's censored here heh-

REMEMBER, FOCUS ON GOD :)
